I bought my first SLR camera in the early 1990's, a Nikon F601. I started shooting holidays and family events, mostly on slide film. In 2005 I switched to the digital era with the Nikon D70s DSLR, followed by a Nikon D90 in 2010. I started shooting raw in 2009, postprocessing the photos with Nikon's Capture NX software. That's also about the time that I started sharing some pictures on flickr.com.
In 2019 Nikon launched the Nikon Z50, their first mirrorless crop sensor camera, and I bought that camera in the same year. Today, I am still a happy user of the Z50, in combination with the full-frame Nikon Z6II that I acquired in 2023.
In 2020, I decided to take photography a bit more serious and I took 4 years of photography courses with photographers Steven Meert and Marlies De Boeck. Since that course, my worklow includes Adobe Lightroom for both photo organization and postprocessing.
I am sharing original medium sized crops of my photos on flickr.com, where you can see all relevant metadata. Please respect copyrights.
